Here at Friendship Baptist Church, our goal is to reach every individual in Warwick, Rhode Island, and beyond with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We want to help everyone we can experience the powerful truth of God's Word and to realize real growth in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus. Ultimately, we want to grow in grace as God creates a new culture of spiritual greatness - which will help impact the world for God's glory. What We Believe

The following are simple summaries of what our church family believes. We believe the Bible, teach it is perfeclty true, and our beliefs at FBC are from it's pages.

Scriptures

We believe that the King James Bible, composed of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament, is the verbally and plenary inspired word of God and is inerrant, infallible and God-breathed and, therefore, is the final authority for faith and life. It reveals the principles by which God judges us, and therefore is, and will remain to the end of the world, the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried. All Scripture is a testimony to Christ, who is Himself the focus of divine revelation. 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Peter 1:25; 2 Peter 1:19-21

Sovereign God

We believe in one triune God, eternally existing in three persons-—Father, Son, and Holy Ghost—each co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections. Matthew 28:19; John 14:16-17, 16:23-27; 2 Corinthians 13:14

The Son

We believe Jesus Christ eternally existed and is the only begotten Son of God. He became a sinless man to redeem us. He was born of a virgin - all God and all man. Luke 1:30-55, John 1:1-15, Philippians 2:5-8
