At Friendship Baptist Church, we are committed to reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We will continue to work to create a safe and secure environment on our property for all of our assemblies, meetings, and activities.
With the increase of cases of the Coronavirus here in America, I want you to know we are working to ensure our building and church family is safe and protected.
Firstly, we are closely monitoring the latest developments and following the guidance from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
Currently, the CDC and our local health department have advised that the immediate health risk to the general American public is considered low, and they are not advising against travel or gathering in Warwick. There are currently no reported cases of Coronavirus in Warwick.
In compliance with the CDC, we advise that you follow standard hygiene practices to stay healthy. These practices include washing hands frequently, using hand sanitizer, covering your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze, and avoiding contact with sick individuals. Also, eat vitamin and mineral rich foods and stay well hydrated. These tips will also help protect you aginst the common cold and flu.
Secondly, we are taking several actions to increase health and safety vigilance on our campus. Hand sanitizer dispensers are on the property. Signs have been installed in all buildings encouraging everyone to wash their hands thoroughly. We have increased cleaning measures in all public areas, entry ways, handles, etc. We will continue with these practices for as long as necessary.
Third, if you are feeling ill, we encourage you to stay home and ask how you can watch via Facebook. You will be able to enjoy the worship services via this helpful technology.
Let’s pray for all those effected by COVID-19 and ask God for protection for our church family and grounds.
I look forward to our services this weekend. We will continue in faith and faithfulness along with the safety measures discussed above.
It is a great joy to serve our Lord with each of you. I look forward to seeing you soon.
